Mission: Deepen the experience of shared prayer and worship through song.
Community Choir: Sat. 4:00 pm or 10:00 am Mass; Practice Thursday, 7:00 pm.
Children’s Choir: children ages 5-15 years; Sings 1 Sunday/month; practice Thursday 6:00 pm in the church during the school year.
Bilingual Choir: Noon Sunday Mass; Practice Sunday 11:00 am.
Cantors: Leads congregation in song; All masses.
Angels & Saints Funeral Choir: at scheduled funerals, Practices as needed.
Spanish Choir (Coro Misa): Sunday evening Mass; Practice Thursday at 7:00pm Guadalupe Hall.
Gifts/Talents: Joyfulness, ability to sing with a group, understanding of the role of music in liturgy, prayerfulness.
Unite as a community praying the Rosary for the sanctity of all life from conception until natural death. Meditative hymns are sung, along with the recitation of the Rosary. No experience required. Mentors provided. Contact the coordinators.
Mission: Spend time with Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament.
Time: Chapel is open 24 hours day/7 days a week.

Preparing parents for the formation of their child’s faith. By appointment in English. Spanish preparation on the last Saturday of every month at 7:00pm

Mission: Assist Ordained Ministers in the distribution of the Eucharist at Mass and/or to the sick or homebound of St. Mary Parish
Time: Mass time & frequency based on your request., usually 1-2 times per month.
Gifts/Talents: Faithfulness, prayerfulness, Attend Diocesan & Parish training and renewals. Strive to model Christ in your life.
Advises the Pastor on financial matters of the parish and school. Responsible for monitoring all income and expenses, and approving the annual budgets.
The PPC is involved in most activities and programs effecting the liturgical and spiritual life of St. Mary Parish.
Parish volunteers who warmly welcome parishioners as they enter the Church for Mass.

Mission: Proclaim the living Word of God in a way that is prepared and confident so that it may bring enlightenment and understanding to the congregation.
Time: Mass time & frequency based on your request, usually 1-2 times per month.
Gifts/Talents: Confidence, willingness to prepare and ability to speak clearly.
Men and women who assist at Mass or Funeral masses to enhance the worship of our faith community.
Responsible for the preparation and care of the altar linens. This includes the washing and ironing of purificators, corporals, and altar linens.
Rite of Christian Initiation – preparation of adult candidates for Catholic sacraments.
Volunteers who assist people to their seat if necessary. They also take up the collection.
Duties include preparing the altar for Mass and cleaning the altar following Mass.
Mission: Prepare one part of a meal, entrée, salad, dessert, etc. for approximately 50 Project Hope residents. 4th Thursday/month. Prepare food at home, deliver to FHC.
Time: 2-3 hours per month.
Gifts/Talents: Interest in cooking/baking, generosity, “Feed the hungry.”
Mission: We are a group of parishioners who have chosen to accept Jesus’ call to help the poor through direct action. With the charitable support of the entire parish, we provide food, clothing & household items and help pay for emergency financial needs for the poor in our community. Most of all, we provide hope.
Our work involves receiving requests for help with rent, utilities, food, clothing, etc. and then discerning by phone or visits the best way to help. SVdP volunteers also staff the Saturday “Choice” Food Pantry, pack food boxes for weekday distribution, give out pre-packed food boxes at the parish office, staff the SVdP Clothing Room, and pack and help distribute fresh produce at monthly Mobile Pantry events held on the 3rd Tuesday of each month.
Time: Meetings 1st and 3rd Monday/month at 7 pm for those doing home visits.
