Rev. R. Stephen Vellenga, Fr. Steve was ordained a priest on June 13, 1981 and has been Pastor of St. Mary’s since October 1, 1997.  He studied in Rome, worked in the Cleveland Latin American Mission of El Salvador and traveled extensively as Director of the Propagation of the Faith for the Diocese of Cleveland.  “When I am in Painesville, I’m home and when I’m at the parish, I’m your Pastor.”  “I am proud to be part of our diverse parish community and to be able to work with our diverse and talented staff.”  “I hope that St. Mary’s can be a place where you can be at home and find God!”
